Generators and converters

Exciting your screens

Two important parts of our ultrasonic screening systems are our Artech generators and converters. These two components generate and control the appropriate frequency with which you excite your screen frame.

DGS35 frequency variation generator

Frequency variation generators convert electrical energy into high-frequency energy. They generate working frequencies in the range of 30-38 kHz and are ideally suited for the excitation of complex mechanical structures. With our generators, you benefit from a plug and play concept:

  • The system automatically searches for the optimal operating frequency.
  • No tuning of the screen construction required
  • For Atex applications per Ex II 3D EEx td A22 IP65 T80°C

Your advantages at a glance:

  • Various power levels available, optimized to the area of your screen frame
  • Simultaneous excitation of several screens possible with one generator
  • Designed for operation in harsh and humid environments
  • All operating functions and parameter settings possible via an external PC
  • Digital inputs and outputs
  • Digital error coding
  • Frequency analysis of the acoustic system

Converter

Converters transform the high-frequency vibrations of the generators into ultrasonic vibrations.
The sound waves excite mechanical structures of different sizes and shapes.

Using a HF cables the converters are installed outside the screening machine and outside the powder flow. This is how we exclude material caking.
