Conditions of participation (GTC)

  1. Notification of requirements
    The notification of requirements for the training and further education of employees is submitted to HAVER & BOECKER by the division managers in the middle of each year for the following year - online on the Intranet site of the HAVER Academy. The needs are evaluated by the HAVER Academy and form the basis for our annual training program. The requirements are adopted for the first booking status of the seminars. Participants will receive a confirmation of registration via the place reservation.
Of course, individual needs can also be reported during the year. The online form is also available for this purpose. A planning period of eight weeks is foreseen for implementation of the training measure. Short-term training can only be implemented in exceptional cases.
     
  2. Registration
    Please register for the various continuing education programs online on our website. Click on the "Register" button to fill in the form and send it to the HAVER Academy. If you don't have an Internet connection, please contact your supervisor. We are naturally also happy to support you with online registration. 
External training participants request a non-binding offer when submitting their registration. After receiving the offer, you order the training for a fee by completing the form enclosed with the offer and returning it to the HAVER Academy with your signature. Your registration is binding through your signature and receipt by the HAVER Academy. A little hint: the HAVER technical seminars listed in the program booklet are only intended for our own employees to provide them with the necessary knowledge on our latest machine technology.

    Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. You will receive a confirmation of registration with detailed information about the training program. If the event is already fully booked, we'll notify you immediately and you will be placed on the waiting list. As soon as a new date is fixed, we'll inform you in writing and ask for your confirmation of participation for the new date.
     
  3. Training fees
    The basis of the training fees determined by us is the respectively valid and current calculation basis of HAVER & BOECKER OHG. Information is available from the HAVER Academy staff. All prices are subject to the applicable statutory Value Added Tax. The external participants receive the invoice for the services used by post after the training. The training fee for HAVER & BOECKER employees will be charged to the corresponding cost center.
     
  4. Withdrawal
    a.Substitution
You can nominate a substitute instead of the registered participant. You will not incur any additional costs. The seminar fee will be charged to the business area of the attending participant or the attending participant himself.
    b. Rebooking
You can rebook for another event date or also for another event at any time. Please inform us of this in writing. In the event of a rebooking, we charge the following processing fees (the day of the planned start of the training is decisive):
up to 4 weeks before: free of charge
less than 4 weeks before: the full participant fee will be charged.
    c. Cancellation
You can cancel the contract in writing at any time. For HAVER & BOECKER employees, the supervisor must agree to this cancellation. In a case of cancellation, we charge the following processing fees (the day of the planned start of the training is decisive): 
up to 4 weeks before: 30% of the training fee
less than 4 weeks in advance: the full participation fee
The latter also applies if the registered participant does not show up.
     
  5. Cancellation
    We reserve the right to cancel the event due to an insufficient number of participants up to four weeks before the training date at the latest. We also reserve the right to cancel the event at short notice for other important reasons (e.g. sudden illness of the trainer, force majeure). If the seminar is cancelled by the HAVER Academy, you will not incur any costs. Liability and damage claims against the HAVER Academy are excluded.
     
  6. Reservation of the right to make changes
    The HAVER Academy is entitled to make necessary changes or deviations in terms of content, methodology and organization before or during the training course, provided that these don't significantly change the benefit of the announced training course for the participant. If necessary, we are entitled to replace the designated trainer with another trainer who's equally qualified with regard to the subject matter.
     
  7. Service contents
    Unless otherwise stated, the participation fees include a joint lunch during each full training day, beverages during the training and the seminar organization.
     
  8. Data protection/data storage
    Notice according to § 33 BDSG: The storage and processing of customer data is carried out in strict compliance with the Federal Data Privacy Protection Act by the HAVER Academy and the neutral service providers commissioned by us.

    Your name, the name of your company, your postal address or the postal address of your company, your telephone number and your e-mail address will be stored for processing, billing and advertising purposes. You can object to the use of your data for advertising purposes in writing at any time.
