Fine mesh made of stainless steel

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is located in the centre of Msheireb in Downtown Doha, close to the Museum of Islamic Art and the new National Museum of Qatar. In the Spa area of the hotel, room-high privacy screens made of painted HAVER Architectural Mesh has been installed.

HAVER Architectural Mesh allows prestigious and at the same time functional designs that can creatively be designed due to the structure, type of installation and illumination - from shimmering, via translucent to opaque, from cool and elegant to warm and discreet. In this project, a lacquer finish adds a special accent.

The used fine wire mesh <link _top>ALTERNA 6012 has an interesting herringbone pattern, which appears slightly transparent depending on the lighting and viewing angle. The requirements of this project required a special mounting. Therefore, the mesh covers both sides of the frame and all edges are covered. A hidden mounting system of the frames inside the ceiling and floor complete the elegant design of the privacy screens. In total Haver & Boecker supplied twelve painted and mesh-covered frames (2.60 m x 0.46 m) including the necessary mounting technology.

The variety of mesh types, different colour options and various mounting solutions offer almost unlimited individual design possibilities.

The “Dan Lounges”, situated close to the shops in the center of the terminal, are divided into several seating areas. The glass walls provide passengers with good views of take-off and landing of aircraft.

Room dividers made from ALTERNA 6012 allow travelers a feeling of privacy and they separate two areas of the total seating capacity of up to 320 people.

In the lobby of the Mannheimer Swartling law office two different mesh types has been used.

The architect decided to use MULTI-BARRETTE 8106 for the desk to get a sober and a  special welcome feeling for the office. The first thing you see when you enter this office is this desk.

TEXTURA on the wall has two purposes: First of all it is a work of art and with the play of light it lends an individual character to the lobby. It is also there to improve the acoustics of the office, using an acoustic material behind the mesh.

The oldest church is in the district of Cottbus is the Martin Church in Cottbus-Madlow. The listed village church dates from the late 14th century. The interior of the Gothic church could be freely redesigned in 2015 by bvdm architects from Berlin.

The end of the nave forms a "cross of light" in front of the altar window. Four frames with HAVER Architectural Wire Mesh TEXTURA 1991 are arranged so that the daylight between the mesh elements forms a cross.

For the renovation of the Théâtre Municipal in Luxembourg the architecural concept had to be adapted to existing structures of the theatre.

Amongst others the cladding of the proscenium walls had to be renewed and meet the current arrangement of the building.

HAVER & BOECKER supplied cut elements in a standard size of 1350 x 1365 mm, which were notched at all four corners. Then the mesh panels were attached to medium density fibreboards with an in-between sound absorption material. The wire mesh covers a total area of approximately 550 m².

Both are working separately from each other and have their own flow of customers. To minimize disruptions in either office area, a guiding structure was designed in the center of the room (entrance with separate access for each office, partition).

The central partition curves as a guidance line between the "community office" and "licensing" areas. It separates the areas functionally without fully dividing the room."
