Information and notes on the subject of safety and the security of HAVER & BOECKER OHG’s sites, its subsidiaries and its affiliated companies: The following statements and legal notices apply to the respective properties of the operating facilities and administrative areas of HAVER & BOECKER OHG’s site in Oelde, Germany.

We accord highest priority to the security of our company, its buildings and production facilities as well as the protection of our intellectual property! The greatest possible trouble-free and unimpaired production and operational capability of our company is the basis of our economic well-being. It is therefore in our common interest to protect our economic effectiveness as well as all of our possessions against burglary, theft and vandalism.

For this reason, our company premises, including the car parks, and parts of our production and administration buildings are under video surveillance! We are doing this within the scope of applicable law and in compliance with the data protection laws according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

The sole purpose of this measure is to ensure your safety and the security of our company. Please be aware of this at all times during your presence on our premises and also observe in this regard the additional signs pertaining to video surveillance in the relevant areas of our business premises and production facilities.

Storage period or criteria for determining the duration of the storage period 

The stored recordings are overwritten at regular intervals and erased after 10 days at the latest, insofar as no further storage is necessary for the preservation of evidence.

Reference to the rights of the data subjects 

The data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation from the controller as to whether personal data concerning him or her are being processed; if this is the case, he or she shall have a right of access to such personal data and to the information specified in Article 15 of the GDPR. The data subject shall have the right to request the controller to immediately rectify inaccurate personal data concerning him or her and, if applicable, complete incomplete personal data (Art. 16 GDPR). 

The data subject has the right to request the controller to erase personal data concerning him or her without undue delay, provided that one of the reasons listed in detail in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data are no longer needed for the intended purposes (right to erasure). 

The data subject has the right to request the controller to restrict processing provided one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data subject has objected to the processing for the duration of the controller's review.

The data subject shall have the right to object on grounds relating to his or her particular situation at any time to processing of personal data concerning him or her. The controller shall no longer process the personal data unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Article 21 GDPR). 

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, every data subject shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data relating to him or her infringes the GDPR (Article 77 GDPR). The data subject may exercise this right before a supervisory authority in the Member State of his or her residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
