64. The diploma thesis

In 2000, Florian Festge spent some time at Haver & Boecker in the Research and Development department to complete his studies and prepare his thesis.

The subject of the diploma thesis was the newly developed packing machine named miniseal®.

There was a definite deadline, of course. However, Florian Festge was late. There was still a lot to do on the eve of the deadline.

And, as it happens: One error followed another and the finalisation of the document for printing became a distant prospect. By now it was late in the evening. How good it is to have a brother who’s on hand with help and advice. Fabian Festge helped his brother wherever he could – bringing together the sheets when they could be printed out without errors. In this way, they spent the whole night in the office until they were able to send the thesis on its way to the university in Dresden early in the morning, exhausted. The work arrived on time and was positively evaluated. All’s well that ends well.
