Verkleidung eines außenliegenden Treppenturms mit HAVER Architekturgewebe

Im Rahmen von Modernisierungsarbeiten zur Einhaltung aktueller Brandschutzvorschriften, erhielt das Studentenwohnheim der E.N.S.A.M. (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers) in Talence, nahe Bordeaux, einen außenliegenden Treppenturm mit einer Fassadenverkleidung aus HAVER Architekturgewebe.

Für die Verkleidung des Treppenturms wählten BBCR architectes das HAVER Architekturgewebes EGLA-DUO 4262. Das Metallgewebe besitzt dank der Kombination von Flachdrähten und der ebenen Ausprägung der Runddrähte ein besonders homogenes Erscheinungsbild, welches das Licht sehr schön reflektiert.

Aufgrund der hohen Eigenstabilität ist das Drahtgewebe EGLA-DUO besonders gut geeignet für robuste Fassadengestaltungen, als auch Brüstungsfüllungen. Die leicht und filigran wirkende Gewebeverkleidung von Haver & Boecker fungiert hier in erster Linie als Absturzsicherung. Um dem Treppenturm nicht seine Leichtigkeit zu nehmen, wurde auf weitere Brüstungselemente verzichtet – lediglich ein Handlauf ist als zusätzliche Sicherung installiert.
