Wire mesh DOKAWELL-MONO

The hospital "Santa Angela de la Cruz" in Sevilla received a new sun protection of wire mesh type Dokawell-Mono.

The outside façade of the clinic is cladded with a wire mesh façade of the type Dokawell-Mono 3601. The inner courtyard received a wire mesh cladding with Dokawell-Mono 3001.

In total HAVER & BOECKER supplied 1510 m² architectural mesh in ready-to-install panels and supported the local metalworker during the installation.

Two different mesh types were used at this fashion store in Barcelona:

• Walls: MULTI-BARRETTE 8106

The Pima Air & Space Museum is one of the largest aviation Museums in the world, and the largest non-government funded aviation Museum in the United States. The Museum maintains a collection of more than 275 aircraft and spacecraft from around the globe, including many rare and one-of-a-kind, and more than 125,000 artifacts.

Our US subsidiary W.S. Tyler supplied ready-to-install panels made from DOKAWELL-MONO 3001.

The stability of the wire mesh allows for this interesting ceiling design. Wire cloth elements made from DOKAWELL-MONO 3001 are installed in the designated position and remain in this shape due to the stability of the wires.

Illumination from below the elements create interesting light reflexions.

Kaliftaki’s is the office building of S&B Industrial Materials S.A. As they manufacture high-end products, it was the architect's idea to design the lobby in similar high end and modern way.

The architectural wire mesh DOKAWELL-MONO 3001 was used for the ceiling in the lobby. HAVER & BOECKER supplied ready-to-install panels including the cut-outs in the wire mesh elements.

For the VHS auditorium at the Lichtburg in Essen, HAVER & BOECKER supplied wire mesh elements made from DOKAWELL-MONO 3001, which were installed in front of acoustic panels.

This combination creates highly enhanced acoustics, which is regurlarly being confirmed by local musicians.

From June 16 to October 9 the Flora 2006 takes place in Montreal, Quebec. 

Our canadian plant W.S. Tyler has manufactured a wire mesh canopy veil for this garaden exhibition.

The wire mesh elements made from DOKAWELL-MONO 3001 reduce the temperature in comparison to area outside the canopy by up to 4 degree celsius.

HAVER & BOECKER supplied ready-to-install architectural mesh panels for installation by the local contractor. The tensioning method is the HAVER & BOECKER system flat tension profile with clevis screws.

Facade cladding made of stainless steel wire mesh DOKAWELL-MONO 3001 as effective sun protection.

Transparent wire mesh elements filter sunrays and provide a comfortably fresh and at the same time light indoor climate. Accordingly architectural mesh can improve the energy balance of the building.

The architects Le 23 Architecture from Toulouse decided on stainless steel wire mesh DOKAWELL-MONO 3381 made by HAVER & BOECKER.

In total 300 m² stainless steel wire mesh were installed in front of the glass fronts as an effective sun screen and also as a fall protection at a round stair tower.

 

Architectural Wire Mesh supports the acoustical effects of the system and at the same time protects the absorbing materials.

For this project is Dresden visually appealing edgings and connections of the elements were other key requests by the architect.

The goal of the architect was to give new life to the court yard of the Lichtburg in Essen without creating high constructive expenses.

HAVER & BOECKER fulfilled this request by using the traditional mounting system "flat tension profile and clevis screws".

Pressure springs are added to the bottom mounting to absorb the varying length caused by temperature variations.

To accommodate further 2000 students, the university in Marseille has been extended with a new building. This new building houses new exercise and lecture rooms, a large auditorium, a library and a cafeteria.

To protect the interior from the sun, 171 m² semi-transparent wire mesh were installed at the façade. The architectural wire mesh type DOKAWELL-MONO 3601 with its open area of 52 % works as an effective sun screen. Behind the screen, a comfortable, fresh and light internal climate is created with mesh appearing almost transparent.

HAVER & BOECKER supplied ready-to-install stainless steel wire mesh elements with a height of 2,8 m and a width of 2,2 m. They were fixed with the mounting system of tension profiles, clevis screws and pressure springs.

Doha, Qatar hosts the 2006 Asian Games. Reason enough to build a brandnew stadium, which is equipped with a wire cloth facade along the stairway entrances.

Especially for this project Haver & Boecker has developed and manufactured the new DOKAWELL-MONO 3601 specification.

HAVER & BOECKER supplied ready-to-install elements for this order.

The architects from Beier Baudesign GmbH used stainless steel mesh from Haver & Boecker as façade cladding on the rear side of the shop building. 

The upstreamed wire mesh façade made of architectural mesh DOKAWELL-MONO 3601 covers the escape routes, which are relocated from the inside to the outside of the building. The metal mesh is not only visually appealing; it also acts as fall protection.

Weave type DOKAWELL-MONO has a unique elegance. When combined with complimentary lighting the crimped wires produce shimmering light reflections, creating a magnificent sparkling surface.

In total 1960 m² HAVER Architectural Mesh were installed at the façade.

For the building in Portugal, the architects from NLA - Nuno Leónidas Arquitectos designed  a sun shading facade made of stainless steel wire mesh. A total of 195 wire mesh elements DOKAWELL-MONO 3601 extend over the 1512 m² facade. The sides of wire mesh elements were folded 180° and mounted to frames.

In the winter season, snow - which is blown into the lift station - disturbs the ski lift regularly while covering the contacts of the cableways.

To solve this problem the architect Yves de Preval used the HAVER Architectural Mesh DOKAWELL-MONO 3601 as facade cladding for the ski lift station. The wire mesh with an open area of ~ 52% should prevent that the snow gather itself on the contact points of the cableway. At the same time, the stainless steel wire mesh ensures a natural ventilation of the whole lift station.

The property for “The Domain” was purchased in 1999 and opened its first 65.000 m². space featuring offices, high-end retail stores, apartments and hotel spaces. The space was reclaimed from old IBM Manufacturing and administrative buildings. The strategy when proposing “The Domain” was to create a “second downtown” for Austin, Texas while increasing employee productivity through proximity to surrounding amenities.

The 8th building in the Domain was reconstructed in 2017. Domain 8 features almost 28.000 m² of office and retail space which houses offices for both tech giants, Amazon and Facebook. The 12 story building also features on-site parking at a 3.7:1000 ratio.

The buildings parking garage features 1600 m² of Architectural Wire Mesh from Haver & Boecker. Wire mesh facades are a favorable choice for parking garages due to the long-life span of stainless steel and the optimal ventilation they offer to the garage. To the fit eloquent aesthetic of the building, 30-foot-high panels of DOKAWELL-MONO 3601 of various widths were installed. All panels were equipped with the standard mounting system, a flat tension profile with clevis bolts.

Not only do the panels offer ventilation, solar protection and fall prevention, the panels also add a striking architectural element to the Domain’s first true large-scale office tower. The mesh offers excellent light reflecting properties while still offering great views from inside the garage.

The architectural office LUKAS DROSTE ARCHITEKTEN from Kassel used the HAVER Architectural Mesh DOKAWELL-MONO 3601 for an elevator cladding, which impresses with its very own elegance. The wire mesh with a filigree appearance and an open area of 52% scores with semi-transparency. With complimentary lighting, the crimped wires produce shimmering light reflections creating a magnificent sparkling surface.

Haver & Boecker's stainless steel meshes can be used to create individual elevator designs of the highest quality. A large number of different mesh types and the possibility of coloring provide almost infinite freedom of individual design.
 

Six elements create a total facade area of approximately 12 x 12 meters. The logo and the script of GEG were painted onto the mesh as per the template by the customer. The logo spans over 4 elements and was painted onto the mesh prior to shipping.

To install the panels HAVER & BOECKER's standard mounting system "Flat tension profile with clevis screw" was used.

The Dolphin Village, a residential resort community, is located in the heart of the Bausher area of Muscat (Oman). It´s location between mountains, sand dunes and the City & Gulf of Oman is unique. During an extension of the resort, 290 m² HAVER Architectural Mesh were used for balustrades and guardrails. 

HAVER & BOECKER supplied prefabricated wire mesh elements that were installed by local metalworkers.

 

52 mesh elements, each element with a height of 9.50 m and a width of 2.50 m, were installed.
