A total of twelve events were organised with the aim of making information openly available to customers, national and international representatives, the families of our employees and the people of Oelde. Months of organisation and preparation culminated in success across the board.
Similar to the Cement, Building Materials + Minerals and Chemicals divisions, the first three days of the week were dedicated to customer days presenting the new developments made in recent years – above all the HAVER ROTOCLASSIC – as well as the greatly expanded range of services. Presentations, user reports from customers and market forecasts rounded off the extensive programme. On two further days, over 100 representatives from 55 nations were on site to find out about both technical and organisational developments at Haver & Boecker – while exchanging ideas and insights during informal evening events. The information week came to a brilliant conclusion with an open day for the people of Oelde. The investments in machinery and equipment, the state of the art technology and the clean and tidy workplaces left a lasting impression on over 4000 visitors. Local children got their money’s worth too. A plethora of arts and crafts activities, face painting, baking pretzels and building a small house under expert guidance made the day truly unforgettable – even for the little ones.
