Florian Festge started thinking about this in 2014 when he became the fifth generation of managing partners. Rather than a comprehensive brochure, he wanted an overview that would fit in a jacket pocket. The result was the so-called matrix.
The aim of Machinery Division is to “reach every point in our customers’ universe”.
By focussing on the customer and their market, this is achieved by bringing together three important levels. On the one hand, there are the business units cement, building materials + minerals, chemicals, and food and animal feed. On the other hand, there are the manufacturing technology subsidiaries that make Haver & Boecker a full-line distributor: IBAU HAMBURG for storage, SOMMER Anlagenbau for mixing, Feige Filling for filling liquid and pasty products, Haver & Boecker and AVENTUS for packaging, NEWTEC BAG PALLETIZING for palletising and loading, and QUAT²RO for digitalisation solutions. These two levels are complemented by the regional subsidiaries, which are always close to customers worldwide.
This constellation allows us to take a holistic view of our customers. At the same time, it’s a stable backbone for the Machinery Division, providing security in the event of crises in an industry, a technology or a region.
As the Machinery Division has another mainstay in processing technology in addition to packing technology, there’s also a corresponding matrix for the Haver & Boecker NIAGARA division. As a technology leader in screening, washing and pelletising technology as well as in plant engineering, customers in the mining, industrial minerals, chemicals, construction materials and recycling sectors are offered innovative technologies to achieve their ‘perfect flow’. HAVER NIAGARA combines the expertise and experience of its three locations in Germany, Canada and Brazil.
