Further impressions

Beim Umbau von zwei Traditionswaggons der Deutschen Bahn sind die Decken mit vorgeformten Drahtgewebeelementen des Typ MULTIPLEX 9237 ausgestattet worden.

Heute stehen diese Waggons im Kaiserbahnhof Potsdam und dienen als Seminar- und Schulungsräume für die Deutsche Bahn.

Um die Deckenelemente dieses blickdichten aber sehr feinen Gewebes den typischen Radien eines Eisenbahnwagons anzupassen, sind die Gewebe zunächst auf eine Trägerplatte aufgebracht worden. Anschliessend wurden sie auf den gewünschten Radius gebracht und entsprechend abgekantet.

Das Ergebnis ist eine moderne Deckenverkleidung, die aufgrund der Beleuchtungseffekte für ein angenehm helles Klima in den Waggons sorgt.
